JBL CALCIL contains special mineral additives with calcium guaranteeing the healthy growth of the turtle?s shell. The inclusion of nutritious fish protein and the convenient stick form makes CALCIL readily accepted by all kinds of turtles and tortoises. Vital vitamins promote health and prevent deficiency symptoms

Recommended feeding:
Turtles: JBL CALCIL can be given as an alternative to other staple foods. Young turtles which are still growing should be given as much CALCIL as they can eat within approx.10 minutes once or twice a day. Fully grown turtles may be given one feed of CALCIL 2 - 3 times a week in the same manner.
Tortoises: CALCIL, with its relatively high protein content, should only be given to tortoises occasionally as a healthy treat providing a change from their normal vegetable diet.

As a general rule: young animals 3 - 4 times a week, adults once a week. The amount of CALCIL required should be briefly soaked in water before being fed to the animals. Supplementary food for tortoises. Vitamin content per 1000 g: A: 25000 IU ; C (stabilised): 400 mg; D3: 2000 IU; E: 330 mg
