These lizards are fully grown upon attaining a length of about 20cm. The males have a flat dorsal ridge and orange lateral membranes (?patagia?). Their throat fans (?gular flags?) are also orange. The females are blue and remain significantly smaller than the males. The thin tail is longer than the body.
