The males have a flat dorsal ridge and orange lateral membranes (?patagia?). Their throat fans (?gular flags?) are also orange. The females are blue and remain significantly smaller than the males. Little is known about keeping these sensitive lizards, especially as they require extremely large terrariums in order to keep them in a way that is appropriate for their species.
