Which information do we collect? How do we use it?

When you place an order with us, we have to ask you for your name, e-mail address, delivery address, bank code, and bank account number (or alternatively, for your credit card number and its expiry date). We need this information to process your order and to keep you up-to-date about its status.

The only thing we need from you for our e-mail notification service is your e-mail address. The system saves your e-mail address in the distribution list, separately from your other data. There is no way of linking your e-mail address to your identity, meaning that – as required by German law – you remain anonymous.

Naturally, we’ll use the e-mail notification service exclusively to inform you about topics for which you have registered.

If you take part in a competition or other promotional activity, we need your name, address, and e-mail address etc. so as to be able to contact you if you win.

Your order data is further used to fine-tune our personal recommendations to you. In order to improve the appearance and structure of our online website, we analyze the behaviour of the customers on the website. We also use the stored information to notify you about special offers, new products, and other activities if you have agreed to be informed.

Will Reptilica use my information for other purposes in the future?

Reptilica will not provide your personal data to anybody for use outside the company.

The data are used within the company for no other purpose than to process your order. In this context, it is unavoidable that a limited amount of your data are communicated outside the company in order to be able to deliver your purchase. For instance, the shipping company needs to know your address in order to deliver the parcel; but no further personal or order information is shared with other organizations or individuals. In case you do not meet your obligations arising from the contract partly or in full, we can, however, pass your data on to other parties.

The information we collect on our website is used exclusively to make your order placement or gift selection/reclaiming at Reptilica as pleasant as possible. Reptilica will not provide your personal information to others. We do not exclude the possibility of allowing trustworthy third parties to analyze and improve our customer database.
